Photoshop Shape Tutorial

Photoshop Shape Tutorial

In this tutorial we used Illustator and Photoshop to create this image. We started off in illustator using the pen tool to create an S shaped line. We then flip-copied this and layed it at the other side to create a weird shape. We selected them both, went to blend then Make. We then went to blend and then make. Then back to blend and to blend options where we added the multiple lines effect. Next copied and pasted it into Photoshop just after making a background with dark grey soft brush marks. Arranged 4 of the shape into what you see above. Then using a large soft brush we added colour by selecting the shape then inverting the selection and pressing delete. We set these layers blending mode to dissolve and merge it with another layer to get a better effect. Then we created a small white brush and went around the edge with the pen tool and stroked the path for the white line effect. We added the spectrum of colours over the top of everything and set its blend mode to overlay to give it more colour.
