The Style of the orginal font is bold and italic and is sans serif which i believe always looks better anyway. The kerning for the logo is very small but looks well executed. the date that it was created was 12-13-2010.

Tron Style Font
Font
ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ
The font family is hard to tell off this but i would say it is HELVETICA just edited with some markings. The style of it is bold with no italics or underlines, with it also being a sans serif font. The kerning of the text is very good it compliments it well, it seems like a alot of time was put into it on this. I do not know the date it was created but it could be sometime in 2007. The logo was created by Alexandria Neonakis.

Illustrator Tutorial
Illustrator Tutorial
In the illustrator tutorial we created a small monster using shapes. The main tool we used was the gradient. We first made a perfect circle with shift+drag whilst using the ellipse tool. Then put a gradient in it to make it look like the white of an eye. Next we copied that and pasted it directly on top using ctrl+f then used shift+alt+drag to re-size it perfectly centered to make a pupil in which we applied a different gradient. After doing this a few times we added a reflection to the eye using white circles and opacity. Next we copied the first piece of the eye that we did again but this time we used ctrl+b to place it behind, once again applying a gradient. To create the body of the monster we used the rounded rectangle tool and and press the right arrow key to make it even more rounded. We then cut the bottom of it off using pathfinder and another rectangle. Next we used the same technique to create a mouth. We added teeth and a tongue using random shapes. Then copying and pasting the mouth over the top of where the teeth and tongue were going to be helped us to create a clipping mask so there were no overlapping shapes. Finally we made a circle and dragged out one side of it so it made a spike and then made this an artistic brush so that we could paint in some hair.

Photoshop tutorial
Photoshop Tutorial
In graphics we went through a tutorial in order to teach new people the basics of the program. Firstly we had to choose a picture of an artist/movie star/musician to use on the piece of work we would be creating. I chose this:
We used the magic wand/lasso/magnetic polygon tool in order to cut the picture away from its original background. I then used the rubber tool to get any areas that had been missed due to the limiting factors of the polygon tool. Next we got a texture from the internet and put our cut out person onto it with copy+paste. After doing this we created 3 more of the original using either ctrl+j, alt+drag, or simply right click and duplicate on the layers palette. We then applied layer blending options with the drop down menu on the layers palette, things such as overlay. We also applied feathers, art styles and threshold as well as playing around with levels.
The end of the tutorial netted this:

ZebraFrog
Designer: OilCorner, From DeviantArt
Name of Work: ZebraFrog
This kind of thing just makes me laugh and I love it. I've seen a few of these kind of things before but this one is extremely well done.
Making your point
Creative Directors: Diego Jarrín, Germán Andrade
Creative Team: Xavier Prado, Andrés Freile, Sebastián Villagómez, Santiago Zumárraga
Photographer: Ramiro Salazar
This is the best example of what I wish to be able to do with photo manipulation. Using 2 simple things to put across a certain point without making it too obvious! I love everything about this one there is no single thing that I could say that I like more than any other.
Mechanised
Designer: Mariano Villalba
A simple thing changed into something amazing. Initially a simple farmer on a horse, however this have been changed heavily to look simply fantastic. My favourite part of this particular piece is the moon in the background I think it fits in perfectly.
Bigger than life
Designer: mitisor poienaru
Another photo manipulation. I love making the simple things look amazing by combining them and messing with how they look to create a new piece. This is what has been done here using photos of the world, cities and people to create one amazing thing. I will create thing such as this eventually!
Smoke Bird
Designer: Fust360, From blogspot
This picture is a photo manipulation, this is the kind of thing i want to be able to create. It depicts a bird in flight however it is created from wisps of smoke. This piece is exactly the type of thing i want to do so it spoke to me more than others. This is why i love it.
